Who We Are and What We Do

The philosophy of Carlson Lynch has roots in the similar backgrounds of its founders. Advocacy comes naturally to Bruce Carlson and Gary Lynch. They both grew-up in working class families, and they worked their way through college and law school. They share the pride in accomplishment and work ethic that is so characteristic of Western Pennsylvanians who have had to fight to get ahead.

With the establishment of this law firm, Bruce Carlson and Gary Lynch will continue to fight. The firm will provide sophisticated legal representation in the following practice areas:

Plaintiffs' Class Actions
A class action is a unique procedure where many individual claims are combined into a single lawsuit. For example, if a large number of home buyers receive mortgage loans from a given lender, and that lender imposes illegal settlement fees in connection with the loans, those home buyers might be able to pursue a class action against the lender to recover the illegal charges. Class actions can provide a powerful tool for consumers. Founding partners Bruce Carlson and Gary Lynch have negotiated settlements for tens of millions of dollars on behalf of plaintiffs in class action litigation. Catastrophic Personal Injury
Sometimes bad things happen to people – and it’s nobody’s fault. In other instances, somebody might be severely injured or even killed as a result of a faulty product or somebody else’s carelessness, with devastating personal and financial consequences. The civil justice system is designed, in part, to address the latter of these two scenarios. Founding partners Bruce Carlson and Gary Lynch have recovered millions of dollars on behalf of seriously injured individuals, and on behalf of the estates of individuals who have been killed through the fault of others. Please review the Representative Cases link of this website for specific information regarding catastrophic personal injury cases handled by Carlson Lynch lawyers.

Social Security / Workers' Compensation
The Social Security system is in part designed to provide financial assistance for those individuals who are sufficiently disabled that they are unable to work. Carlson Lynch lawyer Pam Miller has successfully represented hundreds of Social Security clients.

If you are unable to work as a result of a work-related injury, the Workers' Compensation system might permit financial recovery. Pam Miller has successfully represented hundreds of Workers' Compensation clients.
